Item Description
Complete set of 48 cards, each 2.25x3-5/8". There are 4 suits with 12 cards per suit and these are represented by swords, clubs, trophies and balls. Each of these objects are worked into the artwork in some way or another. Cards feature a variety of different sports themes as well as famous celebrities. Includes aviation heroes such as Lindbergh and Amundsen, movie stars such as Douglas Fairbanks, Harold Lloyd, Tom Mix, Charlie Chaplin, sports heroes including boxer Max Schmeling, Matador Barrera, auto/motorcyclist champs Seagrave and Vicent Rierara, etc. Other sports themed cards include horse racing, tennis, skiing, etc. The card backs which are numbered 1-48 feature title "Cine Manual" and are of flip-book design featuring Felix the Cat. N. Mint/Mint. A very interesting set.
