Item Description
Pair of 4.25" tall bisques from the 1930s come in original box 4.5" square by 2" deep with illustrated paper label which actually pictures two Mickeys although the figures as actually produced are of Mickey and Minnie. Box carries early Disney copyright as well as name of early Disney distributor Geo. Borgfeldt Corp. Box has all-over but quite minor aging and grades VF overall. The Minnie bisque has incised number "S34" on her back and she is depicted holding an umbrella and purse. Mickey is marked "S35" on the back and he holds a walking stick and wears a sporty hat. Both have small scattered traces of soiling but overall white areas are quite clean and paint wear is at a minimum with both figures grading overall extremely Fine. A difficult set to find boxed.
