4.5" to 5.5" tin litho toys by Yamazaki, Japan 1950s. Colorful box lid depicts detailed construction scene. Box is plain except for this colorful lid. Has original inserts. The lid has several splits/tears, some moderate creasing and a tape repair. VG but still displays Fine. Colorful construction toys, all with working friction, depict bottom pan, scoop, road roller, two bulldozers and dump truck. Three have manually-operated functions. All have light wear with a few pinpoint paint nicks or light scratch. VF. An interesting little group.
