Item Description
10" long base with 6" tall to top of mule's head. Cast iron by J. & E. Stephens, 1897. This example has the boy wearing dark blue pants, dark yellow shirt and a more vibrant red base. Toy works well and mule swiftly comes around and kicks boy over. He does not have his original whip, however one can be readily purchased from mechanical bank parts dealers. Original trap is present, has small chip in middle. Base has moderate amount of missing paint. Body of mule has paint loss as well mostly centered in back. Boy has paint loss to front and back of his shirt. Overall 80% of paint remains. Fine.
