Item Description
18" arm span by 28" tall cloth, cotton-filled doll w/thin molded plastic face, thread hair. Doll is in costume w/striped blouse plus apron w/heart-shaped pockets and text "I Love Lucy" emblazoned in print across center. Smaller "Desi" is printed below. Made in 1953. Doll has head wrap and tuft of lt. orange-colored thread poking out of top. Face has some soiling and a bit of glue residue at hairline where thread is attached. Two safety pins fasten back of shirt. Doll's body shows just slightest aging. Exc. Rare doll and a classic TV item. From the Hake collection.
