Set of 12 produced for the 50th anniversary of this classic film by Multi Toys Corp. ©1988 Turner Entertainment Co. Each puppet is about 10" tall of high quality and great design/detail with vinyl heads, some with life-like hair, elaborate bodies in different types of material including cloth, felt, vinyl, plush, etc. All are with blister card packaging 9x14". Six of these puppets were produced for about a year and sold at Toys "R" Us stores. These are Dorothy, Tin Man, Lion, Scarecrow, Wicked Witch, Good Witch. While each is still sealed inside blister, cards have noticeably warped, a common defect for this item. Cards also have some light creases/bends but display Fine as is. Puppets are Mint. The remaining six puppets have slightly different blister card design at top noting "Munchkin." This extended series was developed but never produced for release to the public. These six puppets were samples from the manufacturer's 5th Avenue showroom that Andy persuaded them to sell him. There are 5 different Munchkins and a Flying Monkey. The blisters for these puppets were loose and reattached with tape and/or staples, cards have additional scattered wear from display use. Again, they still display Fine while the puppets are Mint.
