Item Description
Right is 11.25x14.25" overall framed print with 7.5x10.5" mat showing illustration of Wilson wearing Princeton shirt, holding fool's cap standing beside two pieces of luggage as he looks at a large mosquito on top of his head. The mosquito's wing reads "1912." Print is captioned "Would-Run Wilson - That's All!" Unknown source, but prior to 1912 decision to run for president. Exc. Left is 10x14" complete July 23, 1913 Puck magazine. Cover has colorful illustration of needle-nosed Wilson with mosquito body. Captioned "Composite Picture Of New Jersey's Most Prominent Products." Complete with colorful centerfold of Uncle Sam as a restrained lion. Interesting to note top half of one page has 2 photos of Tris Speaker and Dubuc with four-line baseball verse under each mentioning Hugh Jennings and Ty Cobb. Center crease. Scattered handling wear, few insect spots. Color illustrations remain bright and clean. Fine.
