6x6.75x1.5" deep box contains 36 sealed packs of cards w/three cards per pack, each measuring 3.25x5.25". Made by Nu Trading Cards c. 1957. Cards are numbered and are part of 64-star set. Cards contain large bw image of star and small brief biography. Some of musicians included in this set are Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Fabian, Pat Boone, Paul Anka, Peggy Lee, Dean Martin, Conway Twitty, Perry Como, Bobby Darin, The Everly Brothers, Nat King Cole, Ricky Nelson, Frankie Avalon, Louis Prima, Johnny Mathis. Nice full body image of Elvis Presley doing one of his famous hip gyrations. Also included in set is a card of Chuck Berry but last name is mis-spelled and says "Perry." Cards are all sealed but for one pack which has split in cellophane running entire bottom length but cards are still enclosed. Box has some handling wear and soiling, white areas have aging, diecut lid has been punched but remains intact. Cards are Mint and box is VF. From the Hake collection.
