Item Description
Lot of 3, approximately 14x22" thin cardboard signs for performances in the Baltimore, MD. area c. 1950s. Broadway Theatre sign for Aug. 25, 1950 performance with Dantini "Master of Horror & Company" with the great Marco, hypnotist and a showing of the 1932 Bela Lugosi film White Zombie. Pennington Theatre Apr. 20, 1957 show with magic by Dantini and McCarl Robertss with "5 Live Bunny Rabbits Given Away Free" and movie screening of "The Gorilla". Parkville Junior High School Kiwanis Club variety act show including Paul Thomas and his magic (with nice magician and rabbit from hat illustration). Show occurred Nov. 21, 1958. Posters all have handling wear with aging, edge wear including tears, creases and .5" chip to top right corner of Pennington poster. Parkville poster has six 1.25" to 1.5" strips of tape remnants on poster, not largely affecting text or graphics. VG overall.
