Item Description
First is 10x14" cardboard box lid only. ©1925. Made by Milton Bradley. No side panels so displays flat. Reverse has directions. 1x3.5" separation above the word "Game." Illustration remains glossy and bright. Would frame VF. Game comes with 8 die-cut figures. Each is 2-3/8" wide, height ranges from 4" to 8.5". Each printed figure is attached to heavy cardboard backing and .5" square piece of wood attached to bottom back allowing character to stand upright. Bottom front of each character has text "Copyright 1925 By National Features Service Inc." Each character is identified and includes: Happy/Gloomy Gus/Mr. Dough/Montmorency/The Cop/Boitram/Foidinand/Hoiman. Scattered ripple in surface paper, noticeable under close inspection. Colors remain bright and clean. Overall VF. Lot also includes 5.5" tall painted bisque figure of Happy. c. 1925. Small suitcase which he held in left hand at knee is broken off. Open area in back for toothpicks/matches. Nice detail/paint. Despite broken piece, displays VF. Both are from the Gary Selmonsky Collection.
