Lot of 2. First is two 3.25x7.5" die-cut cardboard 'phones.' Scarce 1938 premium. 1.75" dia. tin canister is set inside each paddle shaped phone. Each canister has vented speaker device cap on rear. The two phones are joined by long length of black string for sending voice transmissions back and forth per illustrated instructions on back of each. Lightly used/aged. Overall Fine. Second item is 5x7.5" softcover premium book. 1939 Quaker Cereals copyright. Book is titled "Dick Tracy's Secret Detective Methods and Magic Tricks." 68 pages. Contains 18 topics of detective methods and crime solving procedures including 3-page "Magic Tricks" section. B/w illustrations throughout. Moderate cover aging. Fine.
