Item Description
1.75x9.25x12.25" box. c. 1930s. Illustration of Annie and Sandy on magic carpet with Annie saying "Magic Carpets Ought To Be Steam Heated This Time O' Year." Lid also notes "No. 1640/J. Pressman & Co." Several embroidery sets were produced by Pressman. Box with 3 side splits. Slightly concave resulting in light corner creases of surface paper. Illustration however, remains bright and glossy. Box VG. Contents includes uncut 5" tall cloth for making doll. Two sided. Box insert also holds 4.25" generic bisque doll with jointed arms and marked "Made In Japan" on back. Includes embroidery thread/rings/scissors. Also included are 3 cut-out dresses/one un-cut. Contents VG.
