Item Description
3.75x5.75x2" deep with hinged lid. 1930s. The name "Walt Disney" appears on bottom edge of lid. Lid scene depicts Minnie presenting Mickey with this very tin. Wrap-around designs on sides are multiple school scenes including image of strange looking character that has Pluto's head while body combines elements of both Goofy and Clarabelle. Shows wear with some oxidation spotting to lid and back. Additional wear on back includes some bare metal where paint is worn off including a .25x1.5" strip along bottom, bottom edge has some rust. Tin has additional scattered paint nicks and scratches but still retains great color. VG. One of the few examples we know of. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
