Item Description
This very rare 1930s item was made by Soreng-Manegold (see lamps 1659-1660) and they also produced an equally rare yarn holder of similar design. This kit has matching design to the lamps with enameled metal case with removable lid, interior is complete with metal holder designed for spools of thread plus center compartment for needles. Top cover has Bakelite handle plus 3 repeated Mickey Mouse decals. Few tiny scattered decal flakes but all 3 remain nearly 100% complete. Above one decal there is a 1" hairline scratch. Few other scattered paint nicks to the case but all remains totally bright and glossy. Still an Exc. example and the first time we've offered this item in our 41 years.
