Item Description
10x15x2" deep box contains 15-piece tin litho tea set by Ohio Art Co. c. 1930s. Set features art by Fern Bisel Peat, noted childrens book illustrator whose interpretations of these characters remained popular for decades. There are four 4" dia. saucers, four 2.5" dia. saucers, four 1.5" tall tea cups, 2" tall teapot with separate lid and 5.5x7.5" tray. All have scattered wear/aging, including minor paint nicks. Overall set retains bright, glossy appearance. Fine/VF. Box has corner tip wear and creasing but remains tight and Fine-. Rare, exceptional set. The first we've offered in our 41 years.
