Item Description
40x50" silk-like banner with wooden dowel support at top and tasseled bottom border. Banner was used in the finest theaters to promote the 1940 MGM picture "Comrade X" starring Gable and Lamar, whose silk-screened portraits grace banner. Scattered stress lines and small traces of wear to silk-screened design, but banner is Fine. Great piece of theater promotion from the Golden Age of cinema. See previous item #1118.
