The highlight of this book are a pair of glossy paper double-page illustrations with superb Disney art. Titles are "Mickey Mouse And His Retinue Arriving At The Party/The End Of The Party: Mickey Mouse Takes A Photograph." Featured characters are Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Horace, Clarabelle and others. There are a number of additional full color plates including Princess Elizabeth of York by Philip De Laszlo, this same portrait appears on the book's dust jacket. There is a two-page bw spread with photos of the 26 authors featured in this book as young children and includes J.M. Barrie. This also features small illustrations, one of character "Pip" and the other of "Mickey Mouse" as a baby sitting on a pillow. Sales of this book were used "In Aid Of The Princess Elizabeth Hospitals For Children." Dust jacket has moderate aging most noticeable along spine including missing pieces from top and bottom. Front top right corner also has 1x1.5" missing piece, inside flap has clipped corner. VG. Book has tiny scattered age spotting visible on page edges when closed but individual pages not greatly affected and remain totally bright and clean. Slight cover aging, mainly along spine.
