Item Description
Lot of three. 8.5x11" folded as issued flier promotes a luncheon event to be held at the Waldorf-Astoria Oct. 16, 1952. Light wear. Fine. Second is 8.5x11", 4-page program with spoof text including "Circus Saints & Cinemas Club Presents Roy Rogers And Trigger! In A Dripping Drama Of Saddles, Songs And Six Guns - Blood, Sweat & Frontiers/Or Don't Practice In The Cactus." Inside lists "Cast Of Characters" including Roy Rogers and Trigger. Other characters appear to be spoof names, many with western themes. I.E. Hal Hoofman/Dick Buckaroo/Rotgut Neilson/Charlie Straybull etc. Light handling wear. Fine. Last is 7x10" color photo with facsimile signatures "Roy & Trigger." Photo VF. An interesting lot. Roast was probably held during one of Roys appearences at the yearly rodeos at Madison Square Garden. See poster #1934. First we've seen.
