Item Description
5x12x7.75" tall by N.N. Hill Brass Co. ©1939. Tin base with wood wheels and attached figures of Ferdinand and Matador both wood with paper labels. Missing pull cord but works and when pulled along, Matador revolves while Ferdinand raises and lowers his head ringing a bell. Tin base has moderate scattered paint wear mostly along edges and where the circular disk Matador attaches to revolves. Noticeable wear/aging to the paper labels including some moisture staining, hairline rippling and scattered edge wear with small flakes. Matador also has a .25" spot of surface paper missing from legs on one side and front of one shoe. VG. A rarely-seen pull toy. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
