Item Description
3.75" tall toy with built-in key. 1950s. This is variety with Donald's body in tin litho plus celluloid arms and legs as opposed to all celluloid version. Tricycle also came in 2 varieties and this is version with spiral pattern on the wheels as opposed to wheels with forest animal images. See Mickey Mouse tricycle #1692. Works and travels in a circle as bell rings. Moderate all-over scattered tiny paint nicks. One arm has slight separation at seam but this could be easily re-glued and does not affect appearance for display as is. Fine. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
