Item Description
Lot of one box/two banks. Mid-1950s. First is 4.25x4.5x5.75" tall thin cardboard box. Different art on each side. Made by "The Almar Metal Arts Co./Point Marion, Pennsylvania." Four-panel, fold-over top with crease on front top panel. Repaired tear on back top panel. Crease at left panel side. Box is 100 times rarer than the bank. Remains tight and displays Fine. Next are 2.5" tall cast metal banks. Both are from the same casting but have different finishes. Both are made and marked "ALMAR." Boot sides have embossed image of Roy on rearing Trigger with text "Roy Rogers Bank." One has bronzed metal luster. No trap. Fine. Other is rarely seen painted bronze version. Minor scattered paint flakes. Includes trap. VF.
