See previous item #1849. Same basic design as the 1943 kit but the tri-fold cover and comic book are totally different. This folder cover also has a cut-out membership certificate and membership card but again quite different from the previous year. There is also a “Victory Patrol Secret Decoder” and an order blank for a membership pin. As mailed front cover has label, back cover design has illustrated information so you could be “A Cowboy Like Red Ryder.” Cover has scattered trace of aging with some wear along the original fold lines. There is a 2” split along bottom edge of back cover fold line. Fine. The bound in 32 page full color comic is also on newsprint with cover title “Red Ryder Victory Patrol Super Book Of Comics.” Slightest aging but still NM as bound/printed. Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide lists a value of $900 in Fine, up to $4,400 in NM. Rare especially with comic still bound in.
