Item Description
Large and impressive 18x23.75x1.5" deep box contains large 23x34.5" gameboard as well as 6 generic wooden markers and 2 dice and 4.25x8" instruction sheet. English Tri-Ang game manufactured for the Italian market c. 1966. Vivid lid art features Batman and Batgirl flying above city in costumes that differ slightly from the norm. Art is signed "Monguzzi" at bottom right-hand corner. Box has corner tip/edge wear but remains tight with no splits. Fine. Gameboard features various panels with Batman and Batgirl fighting Agrumoids, planet-like aliens. Once again, both Batman and Batgirl's costumes differ slightly in color. Once again signed by "Monguzzi." Reverse of gameboard has scattered age spotting but main gameboard remains clean, bright and N. Mint. Extremely graphic and unusual for its large size, this is the first example of this game we have seen or offered in our 41 years.
