Item Description
1" dia. metal case with original red vinyl-covered leather straps copyright 1948 Fawcett Publications Inc. Offered by Fawcett Club and not known with box. Great dial illustration of flying Captain Marvel Jr. with luminous hands and numerals below. Straps show scattered wear to the leather backing and vinyl covering where buckle rested. Bands are missing most of the yellow accent stitching but vinyl remains attached to leather. Original band with buckle but missing the pin. Fine. Watch dial is missing stem but all other parts remain. Case has bright luster and is Exc. Dial displays Mint. Scarce and our first in many years.
