Item Description
17.5" tall doll has velveteen-covered plush body, composition hands, feet and head. Felt lightning bolt insignia on chest has aged and faded. Missing cape and yellow felt belt. Moderate aging to velveteen body, slight darkening as evident by missing belt. Composition hands and feet have small scattered paint flakes. Boots have three .25x.75-1" areas of paint chipping with composition material exposed. These chips are on sides of boots, not visible when viewed straight-on. Hands and feet still remain totally bright and glossy. Back of head has noticeable wear to black paint, most in 1.25" dia. area. Scattered hairline crazing to face. .25" paint chip on chin. Face remains clean and glossy. VG but 1 of only 4 known and considered 1 of the most sought-after Captain Marvel items. Rare and first we've ever offered.
