Item Description
3x5x2" deep plastic case consisting of clear lid (with "Diamond" imprint) and black bottom containing sloped cardboard insert with die-cut slots as made for holding watch. ©1966 A.C. Gilbert Company/NPP Inc. 1.5x2.75" long, complete with original black/blue fabric band. Great dial design featuring Batwing hands that point at the numerals and are in matching metallic blue color to accents on bat-shaped case. Dial is marked "Gilbert." An exceptional N. Mint example. Insert has "Batman" illustrated logo design plus watch and company text. Insert shows light wear to die-cut slots, but as displayed this is not visible. Complete with original issue papers, insert remains bright and glossy and displays N. Mint. Rare. From the Craig Warren Collection.
