5.25x18.5x3.25" window box contains 16" tall nice quality marionette with fabric outfit, hard plastic head, hands and shoes. Attached wood control unit with ink stamp of "Batman Characters" followed by 1966 NPP copyright as well as company decal "Hazell Airplane Control Marionettes." This decal has begun to flake, about 60% remains. Marionette is N. Mint. Box shows moderate wear with color rubs, creases and re-attached interior flap though cellophane window remains attached. Box stamped "901 Batman" on front and bottom panels. Hazelle also produced Robin marionettes. Box is VG. Extremely rare boxed example, being the only example our consignor has seen.
