Item Description
13.5x20.5x6.5" deep, this set was manufactured by Ideal ©1966 National Periodicals Publications. Considered by many to be among the top Batman collectibles from the 1960s, this is a complete boxed set. Set includes both authentic hand-painted figures of: Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, Superman as well as unpainted solid-color figures of Brainstorm, Joker and Keyman. Also included is robot, solar ray weapon, Bat Plane and Bat Car (Batmobile). Batmobile is free-wheeling. Figures (with exception of Batman) come in expertly-crafted reproduction cardboard holders, rest of set is authentic and as factory issued. Unique red box. Moderate box wear with some light tiny scattered creases. Few tiny traces of missing surface paper due to insects on white areas which blend. Batman and Robin decal emblems are near perfect which is not usually the case. Contents N. Mint. Very rare. From the Craig Warren Collection.
