Item Description
The first movie theater-sponsored club began January 11, 1930 at Fox Dome Theater in Ocean Park, Calif. Their first 7/8" club button has a copyright symbol at bottom, reads "Mickey Mouse Club," and has Mickey image about twice as tall as this version. We believe this is their second design with added word "Fox," no copyright symbol and smaller, slightly revised Mickey image. No backpaper as issued. Two tiny dots lower edge just a hair darker in tone. Tiny surface wear in reflected light. Displays glossy and VF. Only second known to us.
