Item Description
4x4x10.5" tall toy by Yonezawa, Japan ©1961 Frankonia. Nicely illustrated box has creasing along top, some age spotting and bits of missing surface paper but o/w tight and still displays Fine. Toy depicts clown in fabric outfit, face is vinyl, hands are hard rubber, ears and base are tin litho. Accessories include metal tray attached at waist by elastic strings, this holds original bag of balloons taped inside. Also comes with bunch of plastic balloons with wire "strings" and a metal bell. These are attached to clown hands when toy is operating. Clown works and rocks back and forth as he opens and closes his mouth and arm moves to ring the bell. Light aging to clown's jacket and vest. Face has light wear to applied paint with one streak of missing paint through white area of eye as produced. Clean battery box. Overall Fine.
