Item Description
Three trains vary in size from 8.25" to 14" long. All are tin litho. Made in Japan from early through late 1950s. First Honeymoon Train has applied label to plain box. Train is also marked "Honeymoon Train Express." Box label slightly warped. Overall VG. Train has working friction. Very colorful lithography. Exc. Next is streamlined "Pennsylvania" train. Box has light aging. VF. Train has working friction. A few small scratches as produced. VF/Exc. Last is "Overland Atomic Express Train." Box marked "Maruya Toys Made In Japan." Few tiny corner rubs. Displays Exc. Train has interesting friction mechanism with 3 pistons that go up and down in the middle on both sides of train. Light wear, some small scratches, working friction, overall VF. A nice grouping showing the big variety of trains that were being produced in Japan during this time period.
