Item Description
8x15x22" tall molded thin plastic display from 1960s with cardboard back panel and paper labels. Bottom reads "Hand Painted Sculptured Miniature Masterpieces" and on either side of this are designated areas where original price was to be filled in although these are blank. Does not bear the Marx name. Text on the label on backdrop includes "Famous Children's Characaters/Pirates/Soldiers/Cowboys/Indians." Features an assortment of both hard plastic Warriors of the World figures as well as soft plastic characters. There are 28 different Warriors of the World and 16 different characters between 1" and 3" tall including those for Dick Tracy, Lil Abner, Orphan Annie, Disney including Mickey Mouse, Mad Hatter, Ringmaster and Three Dwarfs. Most of the Warrior figures have a broken piece, weapon, arm, hand, etc. Paper labels show obvious wear with edge chipping, moisture stains. Two corners of base have 2" splits. Overall just VG but the only display of its type we've seen.
