Item Description
7/8" brass luster disk has impressed image of Superman in red along with the name of an Australian newspaper "The Argus." Below this against a green panel are the words "Superman Club." About 60% luster remains and near 100% paint. About our third seen. Was issued c. 1947-1949 by a Melbourne daily newspaper which published the Superman comic strip each Friday in full color. The strip actually started in 1945 but the club was active in the 1947-49 years. Scarce even in Australia.
