Item Description
Large, bold 1.75" w/backpaper by St. Louis Button Co. Has design first used in 1944. Center is profile w/trademark hat. Text below reads "The Shadow Sundays - 3:00PM - KWHK Dial 1190." Text above profile reads "Celotex Rock Wool Member Shadow Club." Text on outer rim reads "Guy P. Miller Insulation Co. 907 West 4th, Hutchinson, Kan." This company sponsored The Shadow radio show for only a few years. On far right hat brim a tiny rub took off a dot of black while just below is very narrow 1/8" long sliver of cello gone. About 98% clean and glossy. The first we offered in Auction #191 also had a minor defect but with premium exceeded $3,500. Button still displays clean, glossy and extremely Fine as tiny defect blends well.
