Item Description
Reads "Tarzan Chamber of Commerce" c. 1970s. 3" with window center for reverse insertion of name card. At top is small image of Tarzan with spear and lion. Trivial age dot upper right barely shows. Very light wear in reflected light. Still displays Exc. Burroughs bought this Los Angeles district in 1915 for a large home and named it Tarzana Ranch. Later residents of sub-divisions named the town Tarzana in 1927 in honor of him and his character. Only example known to us. Rare.
