Item Description
2-1/8" long die-cut brass with lightly worn but nearly complete rwb color accents. WWI air ace Rickenbacker created the Ace Drummond aviation-themed comic strip for King Features in 1934. In 1936, Universal based a movie serial on the strip and promoted it with a 1.25" button that reads "Ace Drummond/Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker's Junior Pilots' Club." These wings, about second we've seen, are likely related. Rare.
