Item Description
19.5x28" embossed tin lithographed by F. Gutekunst. Images of seven candidates for Pa. state offices on keystone design surrounded by draped U.S. flags. Center image is of "Col. Wm A. Stone/For Governor." Also pictured are two candidates for "Congressman At Large-Grow, Davenport." Candidates for Lt. Gov. and Secretary of Internal Affairs are shown wearing their military medals. They are Brig. Gen. J.P.S. Gobin-Gen. Jas. W. Latta. Also shown are two candidates for "Superior Court." They are "W. W. Porter, W. D. Porter." Possibly related but unknown. Bottom text reads "Patriotism/Protection And Prosperity." Tin is heavily embossed. Tiny tack holes are seen around margins, scattered dents appear, possibly from being used for BB gun target. General wear and paint loss, mostly to right side. Color and images are darkened in lower area, upper portion remains bright. Good.
