11x14" title card for the 1949 Realart re-release of the 1943 Universal horror film. Film starred Bela Lugosi in his only appearance as Frankenstein's Monster and Lon Chaney Jr. in his second appearance as The Wolfman. Movie title is done in interesting fonts, including bolt and rivet design for "Frankenstein" and hairy-looking letters for "The Wolfman." Color-tinted images of both monsters appear as well as damsel in distress Ilona Massey. Upper right-hand corner features art image of the monsters fighting that was used on movie posters. Light corner tip and margin wear, all of which could be easily matted out for an Exc. display. Card has had no restoration or backing. Exceptionally bright and clean, great design from the Golden Age of Universal Monsters.
