1945 General Mills premium game. 7x10.5" envelope with original mailing label. Left side text explains "Build! Play! Exciting! Kix Air Base With Cut-outs For Planes, Tanks, Jeeps, etc. And Rules For Three Thrilling Games. Also Many Valuable Things Future Fliers Will Want To Know. Get An Additional Air Base And Form A Complete Super Island Air Base, With Twice The Playing And Landing Area." Torn at flap ends. Handling creases. Envelope VG. Envelope holds 6.5x10" folded sheet that opens to 26.5x40". Sheet has no Lone Ranger reference, but is known offered via his radio show. Front of sheet is full color, back is red, white and blue. Includes 26.5" square playing surface for "Kix-Tag." Playing surface has "Air Strip" bordered by design of air base within a "Beachhead" on three sides. The sheet also features cut-out "Equipment" for game play. Additional pieces were to be cut out of Kix cereal boxes. Reverse includes lengthly game instructions/text for assembly. Small trace of wear/aging to margins as well as along fold lines. Folded as issued. VF.
