Item Description
Nice quality 17" tall doll with stuffed fabric body with flocked molded cardboard head that has painted eyes. Hat and shorts are felt, shorts have plastic buttons. Complete with die-cut cardboard tag ©1939. Comes in generic Knickerbocker box with toy company logo on one end flap. This end flap plus one inner flap loose. Moderate box aging, few long creases, 2" edge tear. VG. Hat has all-over noticeable tan age spotting, feather is complete but in two pieces, however tucks inside the hat band so looks Fine for display. While head retains an exceptionally bright and fresh appearance, body shows some scattered light aging, slight color fade and some age spotting to shorts. Defects just due to aging, this is still an old store stock example, back of collar has original price tag pinned to it. Fine. Pinocchio tag is Exc. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
