Item Description
11x12.5x3.5" deep original but generic box contains complete 21-piece, 6-serving set, 1930s. Box lid has one label reading "Nifty Toy Tea Sets/Made In Japan/Geo. Borgfeldt Corp. N.Y." and another label on side panel with same text as well as "Mickey And Minnie Mouse." Box has inserts for holding the pieces in place. Box has scattered aging/edge wear with some surface paper rubs/flakes but remains tight. Fine. Set consists of six 1.5" tall cups with matching saucers, six 4.5" dia. plates, creamer, sugar with lid and teapot with lid which is 3.5" tall. Pieces feature a total of six different scenes which are Mickey at microphone, Mickey as painter with pallet, Mickey watering flowers, Mickey playing a horn, Mickey showing Minnie a rabbit, Mickey and Minnie in a rowboat. Choice set in Exc. condition. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
