Item Description
High quality set by Fantasma issued in 1995. This "Signature Series" of watches was issued to commemorate legendary Disney animators and this watch is for "Frank Thomas/Ollie Johnston." Watch has 1.25" dia. brushed metal case, choice dial depicts the wedding scene between Pongo and Perdita. Dial features separate die-cut images of them set against a simulated stained glass bkg. Leather band. Comes in wood box with hinged lid that has simulated "burned in" facsimile signatures of Thomas and Johnston. Comes with matching slipcover, certificate and fold-out card with photos of the two Disney legends along with film scenes. Certificate reads "To Celebrate Their More Than Sixty Years Of Outstanding Contributions In The Magical World Of Disney." From an edition of just 2500, however this is a production sample and without an individual issue number incised on back of watch case. Slipcover has sticker noting "0000/2500."
