Item Description
11x17". Promoted here is the supposed New Hampshire preference for Vice President in 1972 "Chief Burning Wood" aka Austin Burton - a New York businessman. This poster was used in the "New Hampshire Preferential Primary - March 7, 1972" with slogans such as "Make Love Not War/Let's Lay Down Our Weapons Of War...And Settle For A Little Peace." Back of poster has articles from the Thursday, February 10, 1972 Wall Street Journal giving extensive explanations of "Chief Burning Wood/Austin Burton's Attempt To Become The Vice Presidential Candidate Under Richard Nixon." Nixon and Burton are shown in Indian headdresses on the front. Overall interesting. Essentially Mint. Rare.
