Item Description
4 1/8”x7” stiff paper has nice image of Superman from chest up with art by Jack Burnley from the cover of the World’s Fair 1940 comic. This was also issued in 1943 by the War Department in conjunction with Schools At War Activities League to be handed out by various groups. This has a imprint for “Wigmore Dairy” at bottom middle margin. Text above Superman reads “Superman Says Knowledge Defends Our Future” and text below says “Quiet Please A Victory Kid Is Studying.” Some minor corner bump but essentially NM. Unlisted in the “Hake’s Price Guide to Character Toys.”
