2-1/8" wide embossed tin shell in silver luster with orange and black accents depicting cartoon lion with giant smile and the embossed letters on his teeth "Welcome Teddy." Highly embossed so that the center face area is quite raised above the surface of the surrounding mane. Top edge has a pair of small metal prongs that fold over to the back side but there is no type of pin fastener on the reverse. Likely issued at the time of his return from his African safari but we're not quite sure how the piece would have been used. A marvelous image with only a tiny spot of paint loss on the nose area.
