Lid features illustration of Superman with two young boys using exercise equipment and one wears belt with “S” logo buckle. Top of box has metal clasp and handle. Inside of lid features 7 panel story of Superman teaching a young boy how to use the set. Box has original blue cardboard insert that holds pieces in place. However all that remains is generic hand grip. Also with set is 7”x13” “Superman Muscle Building Club” certificate which is unused and has nice image of Superman. Vertical crease, VF. 13”x13” “Superman Muscle Building Chart” is also included with various columns for “Date, Height, Weight, Arm Muscle, Chest, Waist.” Includes two images of Superman, one flying up and one down. This chart is also unused and has been folded diagonally and horizontally. VF. 1 3/8” dia. litho button reads “Superman Muscle Building Club” and has nice image of Superman in center. This button has some hairline scratches to surface and some minute pinpoint paint nicks to white border. VF. Box lid has obvious wear as lid has been pushed in creating several edge splits, but main panel image remains bright and clean with a glossy appearance. Box is VG.
