Item Description
3" tall, two-piece figural metal corkscrew. Back reads "Columbus/Screw 1492/Chicago 1892/Pat. Appld. For." Threaded two-piece metal figure separates at belt line. Hinged inside hip area is 1.5" long corkscrew. Corkscrew folds out to front of figure. When the two portions are re-joined, the figure appears to have an exaggerated corkscrew genital. Certainly a risque novelty of the day, not intended to be seen by young members of the household. Light wear to figure. Text easily read. May have been plated at one time, if so, plating all but gone. Fine. First we've seen.
