Item Description
Lot of 10. Group taken intact from a long-time collection of war years jewelry pieces with 6 of 10 pieces in transparent plastic. Details per item: 1.25" across transparent heart with rwb/enamel "E Pluribus Unum" bar pin; 1.5" across transparent heart with brass loop for chain. Embedded "USN" logo in brass; 1.5" across very thick transparent heart with brass loop for chain and brass plane on top surface. Minor luster wear; 1.75" across transparent heart with brass loop for chain. Brass plate with embossed wing/propeller logo mounted on top surface. Outer edge of heart sparkles a bit; 1-5/8" across transparent heart with brass loop for a chain. Bomber in brass with tiny enamel stars on wings is mounted on top. 1-3/8" across transparent heart with brass loop. Mounted by post and reverse threaded cap is high relief Marine's logo in bronze luster. 1.5" across translucent red plastic holds high relief Marines logo in brass. Safety pin reverse. This one, 1.5" across is all metal in brass luster with rwb enamel paint and overlayed embossed brass Army insignia. Luster dot off eagle's head, rest Exc. Very neat for costume jewelry. WAAC (Women's Army Air Corps) heart-shaped pin 1.5" across in some unknown hard material, maybe plastic, with relief die-cut enamel in striking gold tone. This has bar pin reverse and is Mint. Comes with 1.75" "WAAC Enrollee" volunteers button that has tiny line of stress cracks barely showing at 7 o'clock and 11 o'clock. A scarce button that comes along to document the piece of jewelry. Minor wear on a couple, but all VF to N. Mint and all display well. A great group of rarities.
