Item Description
Lot of 15. With restrictions on use of metals during WWII, this innovation by Whitehead & Hoag features a metal pin on the reverse, but being of a die-cut plastic sheet the metal used to back a standard celluloid covered button, as well as the metal collet rim sealing the parts, is eliminated. In this lot items are about 1" tall or 1.25" wide. Some have similar designs, but text variations make them all different. Most promote war loans and American business names include: Western Electric, Eaton, Electric Boat (2), Commercial Controls, Federal Telephone And Radio Corp. and American Safety Razor. Vast majority N. Mint to Mint.
