Item Description
26.25x40.25" poster by Erie Litho. & Ptg. Co. c. 1927. Poster features "Chief Iron Shell And His Band Of Sioux Indian Warriors." Poster is covered with great graphics of Sioux war party including numerous warriors on painted horseback and wearing war bonnet headdresses as Indian village sends them off, teepees in distance. Squaw is shown with papoose, and elder smoking peace pipe. 4.5" tear along fold line at bottom right-hand corner, has tape repair to reverse. Fold lines have numerous clear tape reinforcements on reverse. Two 1" tears along top margins. Bottom margin has some surface paper from date tag sheet removal. Still displays VF. Great graphics.
